What Is Peak Performance Training? Who Benefits?

Peak performance training, or performance optimization training, focuses on elevating an individual’s mental and physical performance. When both the mind and body work together smoothly, performance thrives and success flourishes. About Me

Nicole Pacheco, PsyD, BCB, R EEG T, is President/Owner of Professional Edge where she serves as a coach and consultant to athletes, business professionals, medical professionals, and business and sport organizations. She helps them achieve success using research-based tools and techniques combined with cutting-edge technology to elevate one’s mental and physical performance.

Having studied music in undergrad at Millikin University, Nicole is familiar with the desire to achieve excellence and the challenge of performing under pressure. In addition to coaching and consulting, Nicole has presented on a number of topics related to peak performance training, leadership skills, and professional development.

Nicole Pacheco has presented on topics related to peak performance at local, state, national, and international levels. Her most recent peer-reviewed journal article, Neurofeedback for Peak Performance Training, was published in the Journal of Mental Health Counseling. She is a licensed clinical psychologist, registered electroencephalography (EEG) technologist, and board certified in general biofeedback (BCB) by the Biofeedback Certification International Alliance (BCIA). She also serves as adjunct faculty at Bradley University and is currently involved in research using 19-channel EEG to assess treatment efficacy of War Veterans suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
